Life is Great! The past six weeks have been amazing. The Whistler Backcountry received a crazy amount of snow and I have been lucky to ride the season's best powder - and lots of it.
I had a couple good days at the ski area and some amazing days sledding and shooting my first video clips and photos of the season. I have mainly been shooting with my baby-daddy KJ and some of the slednecks guys, which works out perfect for me because they go farther into the backcountry than most snowboard crews and I like to ride fresh stuff. Also, KJ has the most powerful sled in the valley so he can really drop me off on top of the best lines, in places where other people can't get.
I’ve been filming lots with my GoPro for a fresh edit to be released on mahfia.com in two weeks, as well as bagging shots for Lipstick Productions new film.
With the snow base here it looks like we will be able to ride well into the spring - and there is another big storm in the forecast bringing more cold temperatures and precipitation at the end of this week. I’m really glad I will be able to do some more cliff drops and lines, and once it gets slushy to be hitting some step-ups.
