April 8, 2010 (North Vancouver, BC) – A massive storm dumped 61cm of snow on Mt Seymour in the last 24 hours. This is the most snow seen all season on the mountain and conditions are at their best for skiers and snowboarders wanting to get their fill of this fresh snow. The current snow level at the base of Mt Seymour is 260cm with 614cm at the summit. The abundance of new snow is good news for the extended operating hours for the season. Mt Seymour announced on Tuesday that the mountain will be extending its hours of operation one more weekend and will now schedule to close on April 18.
