Quincy Korte-King is a ball of energy. I first met her two years ago at the Camp of Champions, where I got to witness first hand that not only does she kill it on snow but she can also tear it up on a mini ramp. Always down for a good time, you’ll likely find Quincy in the announcer’s booth at events like the Burton Canadian Open after she’s completed her runs. Aside from summer glacier shredding, Qunicy’s getting her studies on at Stratton Mountain School, following in the steps of Alexis Waite, Ellery Hollingsworth, Louie Vito and Danny Davis. Look out for Quincy as she continues to compete in both halfpipe and slopestyle events on an international level (ex: the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria). At 16 years young, she’s already a force to be reckoned with. -Aimee Maiatico Why you first started snowboarding: 1. The obvious cool factor. 2.
