Breckenridge, CO: Saturday morning literally started bright and early with women's slope semi finals. I had so much fun shooting photos because everyone was killing it and it was so beautiful out. Nineteen women competed and only five advance to the finals to join last years Dew Cup winner Jamie Anderson. Top qualifier Charlotte Van Giles from Holland spun a huge Backside 7 on the second jump, while 2nd place qualifier Enni Rukajarvi from Finland spun a 270 off the rail with Back to Back 5's and Back to Back 3's on the jumps.

By Saturday afternoon copious amounts of people came to Breckenridge to watch the Halfpipe finals, which consisted of six women and 12 men. Riders were going huge and even with the sun going down and the light making it impossible to get a good photo, everyone rode impressive. Kelly Clark came out on top with her always impressive huge Front 10. Louie Vito threw 3 doubles in a row including a Backside Double 12, while Shaun White went higher than my camera could capture.

Sunday was just as beautiful as Saturday, and the slope finals were ridiculous. I was very happy to see that half of the slope podiums between men and women were Canadians. Of six women, Spencer O'Brien took 1st with her run of a Front Board, Back Lip, Back 5, Switch Back 5, Back 1 out and Switch Back 1 to Front 7. Spencer was so stoked to take 1st again since the 2009 Breckenridge stop of Dew Tour. On the men’s side, there were 12 competitors including last year’s winners Eric Willett, Mark McMorris, and Torstien Horgmo. Norways Gjerdmund Braaton ended up on top, while Canadians Sebastian Toutant and Charles Reid took 2nd and 3rd.
