It’s officially fall, the time of year when we all start to anticipate winter. As the season approaches the Rugged Riders ladies like to get out of Whistler and look to other types of boarding to keep them entertained. They headed down to Vancouver for a mini 'Skatecation' to check out some new skate spots.
The girls met up with Landyachtz team rider, Katie Neilson for an afternoon slide session in East Van.
Katie was stoked to meet a friendly neighborhood lion cat who wanted to get in on the action.
They rolled down to the Athletes Village and pushed around the Seawall.
The girls had an afternoon session in Surrey and I took my turn in the covered bowl at the Chuck Baily skatepark. Photo: Ben Webb
Rugged Rider’s Chef, Camïe Bryar checked out some new lines at Queensborough Skatepark in New Westminster.
Camïe dreamed of grabbing indy into a powder landing while riding the full pipe at Queensborough.
Skateboarding is a great way to fill the void until the snow falls, so support your local skate shop and go boarding!
