JAIME ANDERSON WINS 2008 SLOPESTYLE TITLE AT THE ROXY CHICKEN JAM AND THE 2008 WOMEN'S SWATCH TICKET TO RIDE (TTR) WORLD TOUR TITLE

Mammoth Lakes, Calif. (March 31, 2008) - Jaime Anderson of South Lake Tahoe, CA (USA) took first place for the 2008 Roxy Chicken Jam Slopestyle crown and the $10,000 prize check. Second and third went to Chanelle Sladics (USA) and Sina Candrian (SUI), respectively. Anderson's first place finish gave her just enough to barely edge past Roxy team-rider Torah Bright and Olympic gold medalist Kelly Clark for the 2008 TTR World Tour Title.

Going into the Roxy Chicken Jam, Anderson stood in third place on the TTR World Tour rankings, less than 50 points behind Bright and Clark. Known for her slopestyle dominance, Anderson locked down her first place victory on her second of three runs with a backside boardslide to a cab 360 to a cab 540 closing out with a frontside 540. The judges awarded her 263 out of 300 possible points. Bright finished seventh in slopestyle with a 225. Bright, coming off of an amazing year which included first place in the US Open and the 2008 Global Open Title, grabbed second spot on the TTR World Tour, less than 12 points behind Anderson.

"I am so amped to win today, I cannot believe it" said Anderson. "When I awoke this morning, I did not anticipate this happening. All of the girls came out with fantastic riding. The Roxy Chicken Jam is one event we all look forward to"

Spring was in the air for the final day of the Fourth Annual Roxy Chicken Jam presented by Schick® Quattro for Women® with the sun shining above bluebird skies and temperatures hitting high 30s (F). The event had been postponed one day due to an unexpected storm with near blizzard conditions.

"We are so pleased with this year's Roxy Chicken Jam at Mammoth Mountain," said Randy Hild, SVP Roxy Global Marketing. "The 2008 event marks our second year as the final stop on the TTR World Tour and the deciding contest for the women's world title. We are thrilled to be apart of the growth of women's snowboarding and we will continue to offer a platform of top notch competition for girls all over the world."

DC team-rider Raewyn Reid (CAN) took home the Zumiez $3,000 Best Trick Award for her stand-out backside 180 to a frontside boardslide to a 180 out. Roxy team-rider Kjersti Buaas (NOR) made an impressive show on a run that included a frontside 360 tailfish to a frontside 720. In the qualifiers, Izumi Amaike soared above the competition to grab first place and entry into the main event. She finished eighth overall, out of 52 slopestyle riders.

The Roxy Chicken Jam is a three-day all-women's professional snowboard contest and is the final six-star event of the Swatch Ticket to Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour. Bringing together more than 50 invited pros and 60 aspiring amateurs from around the world, the Roxy Chicken Jam is the biggest and most popular all-women's professional snowboard event in the world. The event features both Slopestyle and Superpipe competition and has more than $150,000 in prize money, which includes the Swatch TTR World Tour $110,000 prize purse and coveted TTR World Tour Title.
