Whistler to Mount Hood Shred Trip
Words and Photos By Roberta Rodger
We just wrapped up a road trip story for next year’s issue of Snowboard Canada Women’s Annual. I spent 10 days on the road with am riders Meghann O’Brien from Whistler, BC, Natalie Gough from Toronto, ON, Gabi Viteri from Breckenridge, Colorado, pro shred Lisa Filzmoser from Austria, and photographer extraordinaire, Crispin Cannon.
We rode at Mount Seymour, Blackcomb, Powder Mountain, Baker, and Mount Hood Meadows under all types of conditions—sun, rain, fog, slush, hot pow, light pow. You name it we rode it. Highlights from out trip included natural jibs at Seymour, Chris Dufficy’s autograph, the riders’ first catboarding experience, steezy people at Baker, and awesome mountain guides at Mount Hood Meadows during one of the best powder days of the year.
Look for the full story in next season's Snowboard Canada Women’s Annual.
