AMP ENERGY AND BURTON SNOWBOARDS TO HOST CHARITY FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR HANNAH TETER’S 21ST BIRTHDAY
Proceeds Benefit Hannah’s Gold Charity and the Chill Foundation
On Saturday, January 26 at Aspen’s Fly Lounge, Hannah Teter’s 21st birthday party kicks off with a fundraising event to support Hannah’s Gold and the Chill Foundation, two of her favorite charities.
Hosted by AMP Energy, Burton, Go211.com and the Fly Lounge, Aspen’s new exclusive nightclub. The invite-only party will feature an open bar featuring Belvedere Vodka; entertainment by D.C.’s own DJ Dirty Hands; and a raffle that includes dope gear from Burton. In addition, Go211.com will cover the party, so be sure to get online and check out all the night’s highlights.
Guests at Hannah’s 21st Birthday Party will be asked to provide a $10 donation to be split between Hannah’s Gold and the Chill Foundation. Hannah’s Gold is a non-profit organization that raises funds for World Vision through the sale of ‘Hannah’s Gold’ maple syrup. The Chill Foundation is a non-profit learn to ride boardsports program for at-risk kids that works with over 2,500 disadvantaged boys and girls in 19 cities throughout North America, Australia and Europe.
Hannah, who is in Aspen to compete in the ESPN Winter X Games, has also pledged to donate any winnings that she may make during the competitive snowboarding season to charity. Her work with non-profits began after the 2006 Olympics, when she donated her winnings from that event to fund Hannah’s Gold. Since then, she has spent her off-season working with various charities, including Chill, Darfur relief efforts, Boarding For Breast Cancer and World Vision. Hannah is also currently on a nationwide speaking tour of high schools to support and motivate young people in founding their own non-profits and finding ways to give back.
