Humm well, if I'm coming back from Vegas I don't need to take anything, I'm already passed out before getting into the plane, when I do make it to my flight!!! But that won't be happenning this year, will it?! If not, well greens will make me sleep, works for me! Basically watch movies the whole time and just sleep, I'm not a very good partner on the plane that's for sure, don't sit next to me if you're looking for a chat!!! –Magalie Dubois

All I need on a flight is my iPod, and a good book.  The book is key for taxi-ing and while waiting to take off since you can't be listening to music, then the iPod to drown out all the noise mid-flight to help you fall asleep! –Nat Gough

I always bring my sketchbook and a good pen. Computer, iPod, and some books are necessary too. But now we are all doomed since they put the big kibosh on the carry-on situation. Looks like I won't be passing the time at all anymore. –Raewyn Reid

I always bring an iPod and a book to pass the time on a flight. I kind of become anti-social on airplanes if I am travelling by myself. I love to meet new people but there is something about being on an airplane and getting into conversations with whoever is next to you. It is generally small talk, “Where you from?” “How long are you staying for?” “How was your trip?” and then the awkward moment where the cut off point in the conversation nears. At this point is it rude to pick up your book, should you keep on talking? I have met some pretty interesting people on the airplane but when push comes to shove and the awkwardness begins the iPod always saves the day! –Taylor Godber
