Every week we'll be asking Canadian snowboard gals a different question à la Heathers lunchtime poll. Leave your own answer in the comments.
In the heat of summer I love to go near water to stay cool. I especially love going to nice river spots and swimming, I think they are the best swimming types rather than ocean or lake. I also enjoy eating fresh, cold fruit. –Meghann O’Brien
Pool time, or a spritz of water. –Mercedes Nicoll
I keep cool by closing the doors and the blinds of my house. I'm taking some distance-education courses and the only way to stay productive is to pretend it's not sunny outside. –Helen Schettini
Screamers (soft ice cream and slushie) from Husky and jumping in one of the many lakes around [Whistler] any chance I can get, soooo, like every day. –Molly Milligan
I have impeccable circulation and an immaculate heart rate so my body does it for me. –Raewyn Reid
The lakes in Whistler are the best—spend all day with rope swings and dock hangs. –Breanna Stangeland
I take some layers off and stash them or gloves off on the way up always helps. –Kara Rennie
I don't stay cool, I loose it and almost always get burned. –Robin Van Gyn
