The VIVO posse came together for an amazing day of snowboarding and hot doggin'. We woke up to blue skies for the VIVO/COC day up on Blackcomb Glacier—quite unexpected since the previous day was a sideways snowstorm with negative temperatures. We set up shop at the bottom of the halfpipe so we could watch the three airbags, hip, and halfpipe all in one spot. The most important part was watching the handplant contest go down at the bottom of the pipe. The deal was, if you did one you got a hotdog. And if you wore the hot dog suit, you got a hot dog. The VIVO crew, headed up by owners Anthony Leffelaar and Corey Shepard, and us riders, Devun Walsh, Kale Stephens, Kevin Griffin, and myself all came out. We had the best weather and the best "Send It" session of COC by far! Who can say no to free hotdogs? Lots of free gear was given away, too. This was such a great day and there'll definitely be more to come. This event was a "first annual" so we'll be back next year, hope to see you there.
