Since it doesn't air in Canada, you may not have heard of The Daily Habit or the station it plays on, Fuel TV, but it’s every where in the States, playing in Wahoo’s the local bar, snowboard shops, it's Fuel TV mania down here! The Daily Habit is a half hour show on Fuel TV featuring action sports celebrities, music, comedy, and antics hosted by famed Olympic/Dew Tour commentator Pat Parnell. Canadian Meghann O’Brien got the call to be on the show and flew down to Southern California to hang out with me at the beach and head up to LA for the show's taping.
We cruised up to LA for the day in our own personal chauffeured Town Car feeling like quite the celebrities! At the studio we were taken in to the green room where Meghann met Pat and got her hair and makeup done, very Hollywood! Pat was stoked to talk about Meghann’s past season filming with Runway for See What I See and her upcoming plans for this winter, but her creative skills pretty much stole the show! Pat was so impressed by the fact that she was from Vancouver Island and was interested to learn more about Meghann’s unique basket weaving skills that she’s worked on perfecting for the past year and a half. Meghann brought in a tiny basket to show them and Pat was blown away by the detail and that it took over 80 hours to make He was so stoked he had her do a demonstration on the beginning stages of weaving a basket. Meghann pretty much killed it on the show and we also got to sit in the studio and enjoy the live stylings of local LA band The Little Ones -- think I need to pick up the CD! It was a long day taping but Meghann commented on how fun it was and so much mellower then she thought as we sat back in our Town Car for the ride back to my house.
